- fulingbusen - 03.05.2010 Entschuldigung, was bedeutet "Bastelkarre"? - LeBac - 03.05.2010 it's just a little joke because of dirk's c6 and the modifications he made - fulingbusen - 10.05.2010 I borrowed a black Z06 rear rim and I am really confused about what rims are right for this car. Does anyone have any ideas? - Fabi - 10.05.2010 Hi, I like these rims: Click me! greetz, Fabi - fulingbusen - 10.05.2010 They are nice, do they come with Z06 offset? Price? - Hagge - 10.05.2010 Hi Joakim, Really nice Project. I'm looking forward for your results. I would suggest this as wheels: Black ZR1 Wheels...i love them. Greets - fulingbusen - 11.05.2010 Thanks, are they available online in Europe? - fulingbusen - 11.03.2011 Things are slowly moving along I need to adjust the rear wheels with spacers and add 15mm on the inside - fulingbusen - 14.04.2011 Some more work done on the front + rear sacers mounted. Moved the rears out 15mm, I am satisfied with the wheel fit. Not sure how to decrease the clearance above the tires without lowering it too much. I might need larges tires/wheels after all - fulingbusen - 18.04.2011 Here are a few shots to explain my problem. As you can see, the sideskirts are lower in the front than in the rear and the front lip needs to sit at the same height or a bit lower than the lowest part of teh sideskirt. Right now the front lip is sitting roughly 3.5" off the ground and at the same time the wheels needs to come up in order to decrease the Jeep-like clearance. Does anyone have experience driving their car with a lip to ground clearance of 2-3"? I should mention that the roads in Sweden suffers from the winter leaving potholes and bumps. |
