I'm a subscriber from Germany and own a 1980 Vette. I love your magazine.
I hope you can help me with my question. Where is this decal ( see
attachment ) going on a 1980 shark? Nobody in the Vette Forums from USA and
Germany can answer this. Manuals also.

The decal in question belongs on the carburetor idle solenoid……but not on
you're car. It is for 1971 engines only.
1971 was the only year that the carburetor solenoid combines both throttle
position and transmission controlled spark (TCS) functions, using both
electrical and vacuum signals. This is referred to as a Combined Emissions Control
(CEC) solenoid.
