Hi
Interesting. So you only had fuel costs ?
Wait until your car brakes down in Europe and you get the garage bill.
Corvette is priced as a luxury item.
If you have problems over here, don't hesitate to contact this forum for assistance. Will definately be worse it, last but not least , to find a good and competitive garage.

By the way, my 68 was imported in 2000 from Maine to Luxembourg. I never found the owner back on his old address in Maine . Apparently he was a cop.
Hello,
The cost show are only for operation of car. I had several repairs that I was able to fix at members homes on their lifts.
Parts cost $50 for a u joint and $39 for some welding of a bracket. I have set up my car not to break down. In the sense that I have replaced most drive train parts and keep the car well maintained.
My total budget for the 90 days including gas was $9,000 or $100 per day. I was able to drive my car and live on that budget. Forum members across the US put me up for a total of 78 days. I camped out the other 12 .
Food and other expenses was about $5,000 for a total of $8, 700 or so for the 3 months on the road. I could not have done it without the hospitality of corvette owners. I stayed with owners who had owned their cars for more that 30 years.
My car has had over 3,000 years of corvette drivers experience , drive my car. 100 owners who have owned their cars for 30 years X 100 = 3,000 years and I have driven over 100 cars that have been owned by the same owner for more than 30 years.......
Wild isn't it ! I hope to have many Europeans drive my car to add to its history.....
