Okay verstanden aber wie bediene ich dann diesen Schalter bzw die Stange die auf den Schalter geht?

Schau dir mal die Steering Papers von Jim Shea an (doc), Auszug daraus:

Installing and Adjusting the Dimmer SwitchInsert the dimmer rod into the switch. Loosely install the screw in the upper attaching hole and snug the nut on the stud. Force the switch up into the dimmer rod to remove lash and tighten the screw and nut to 35 in-lbs. Check the dimmer switch function by actuating the turn signal lever. You should hear a sharp snap.

Also sollte es funktionieren in dem man den Blinkerhebel betätigt.
In dem Dokument ist auch beschrieben wie man das justieren muss.
