Habe im CF.com was dazu gefunden:
Zitat:I got 5 liters of WD40 (dont know if you can get it in the US...)
I then put the WD40 in an air paint gun, and sprayed the whole bay down, in every little gap etc.... then let it dry for 1 hour.
Next strep to use a Heat Steam washer. Make you turn water preasure ALL the way down, so you only have HOT steam. I had 150 Degree celcius steam. Make sure you dont hit all the delecate parts directly.
Then blow the car down with light air preasure, to get some of all that water out. And let it dry for an hour.
The engine bay will be VERY clean by now, but the plastic looks some what dull.
Last step is to spray it down with WD40 again. But dont use as much this time. Wipe alle the big areas down with a cloth afterwards to get it just right. And there you have it! a super clean Engine bay in 3 hours!
- I was kinda against using a steam blower on my car at first. But a friend did this on his 85´with an amazing result. So I waited about a year, to see if he had any problems with his car afterwards. And he have had nothing but a clean engine bay!
My car fired right up after the steam wash, and runs GREEET!
