Zitat:Gunther,
Thanks for writing. Our customers who posted are correct - you will need the disk, and I recommend our repro style handle. It's about a little more $$ than a Hurst replacement, but it's designed to work with our kit specfically, and there are 4 versions of it depending on year.
I typically throw in the 5-speed nameplate when a customer purchases the handle.
EXISTING CUSTOMERS: If you have already purchased our kit and handle, and need the nameplate, just call us and we'll send it to you for FREE! We gave away a bunch of nameplates at Carlisle. We now have the 6-speed nameplates in stock also.
Gunther, Do you know the two fellows from Germany that took home 2 Corvette transmissions in August when they were visiting the USA? They also saw us up in Columbus Ohio at the Mopar Nationals, and photographed me getting a ticket for doing a burn-out while cruising Brice Road in my '70 Road Runner convertible.
