C5 vs C6 calipers??

I see at madvet.com zo6 style calipers for sale. Is there any difference between those and real zo6 calipers? Or is it just the red color what it is?

As far as i know its just another color,... actually since the 2002 coupe its even the same color. so no need for a change. Just color yours...

The movit option I like most off all. Great red porsche/brembo brakes. But the problem is the money, I have allready spend to much So I thought, maby some red z06 calipers for 400 $ and better rotors.......the magnacharger did it....16.000 euro's....

da ich mich ein wenig mit der Modellgeschichte der C5 beschäftigt habe, erlaube mir zwei Anmerkungen:

1. Ab MJ2002 haben alle EU-Coupe/Convertible die Z06 Bremse!
   
2. Die Z06-Bremse unterscheidet sich von der Standartbremse bei den Bremsbelägen, der Bremssattelfarbe und den Scheiben!

Eine Z06 Bremsanlage unterscheidet sich im folgenden von einer normalen C5 :

- Rote Bremssättel (sonst identisch mit C5)
- Etwas dickere Scheiben
- Beläge sind GM Performance Pads

Also ich bekomme genau diese Teile auf Garantie von meinem GM, wenn mal die Scheiben und Beläge runter sind. Hmm. Also kene Ahnung. Sorry denn.

What would be the best option for me than? paint my calipers red and change the pads? Buy some better rotors? Wich one then? The Bear erardi rotors maby?

I have ordered yet, LPE will have the set in about two week availible, so I guess in about a month we can start with the project. I did not order a hood, this is my friend going to made for me. I hope the car will be ready for the summer. I keep you informed about it. The Fame 2004 meeting I will be there, I hope with the vette. This week I am going to order my new wheels and after this I will have my coil-overs made. Because of the hoodclearance I need the hood first....So everything in the right order.
